Translucent duette is the same colour on the back. The advantage for this, is a softer more blurred colour for the desired project. All duette fabrics are 100% polyester coloured with water based ink.  The major advantage is they are easy to clean and maintain. Duette fabrics also have a very good UV-resistance to avoid discolouring from sunlight.
